MnDOT District 8
Investment summary
Over the next ten years, District 8 is projected to invest $586 million in state highway projects. The majority of projects will address pavement condition. MnDOT will also address bridge condition, roadside infrastructure (signage, culverts, and lighting), safety improvements, address pedestrian infrastructure that does not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and bicycle infrastructure. District 8 investment peaks in 2023 at roughly $106 million. Investment will fluctuate between $37 and $106 million annually over the next ten years.
