Traffic impacts
There will be six different construction sites with one-lane bypasses using a portable stop light. A short detour is possible for one culvert location. Construction sites will be completed one at a time.

Summary of work
The project involves replacing six aging box culverts (more than 80 years old) with properly sized hydraulic structures. The culverts are located between reference posts 124 and 133.
Public Meeting
On Wednesday, April 23, at 5 p.m., MnDOT staff will hold an update meeting at the Hovland Town Hall (4957 East Highway 61. Hovland, MN 55606) about upcoming culvert replacement on Hwy 61. Information presented at the meeting will be posted here afterward.
