DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (3:30 p.m.)—Westbound Interstate 94 is temporarily closed near Downer due to multiple jackknifed semis near mile marker 7, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Motorists should use Exit 15 and follow the signed interstate alternate routes.
MnDOT urges drivers to slow down and travel with caution. Conditions are slippery across the region due to blowing snow and wind.
Westbound I-94 will reopen once the crashes are cleared.
