Highway 23 Green Valley bridge project complete
WILLMAR, Minn. – The Highway 23 Green Valley bridge project has been completed, and crews will have the roadway cleared and the detour removed by the end of today’s workday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The project included resurfacing two bridge decks that span the Redwood River and Threemile Creek near Green Valley, north of Marshall. Crews also replaced approach panels and guardrails at the bridge sites.
Benefits of the project include an extended lifespan for the bridges, and a smoother road surface for Highway 23 travelers. PCiRoads, LLC, was the primary contractor and the approximate cost was $1.5 million.
