Construction on Hwy 1 near Oslo begin June 24

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today, construction on Highway 1 east of Oslo begins June 24.  The project includes resurfacing Highway 1 from Oslo to approximately three miles east of Oslo. Motorists will experience lane closures, flaggers, and pilot car operations.

The contractor for the $970,000 project is Agassiz Asphalt. The project is expected to be complete in early-July, weather permitting. For more information as well as a detour map, visit the project website at mndot.gov/d2/projects/hwy1-oslo.
