Hwy 135 Biwabik pavement work to start June 19

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be completing paving work on hwy 135 in Biwabik starting on June 19. This work will require a detour of the hwy through the City of Biwabik. Local traffic will be taken on to 1st Avenue North to 1st Street North to 8th Avenue North. Trucks will be detoured on Co. Rd. 20 to Co. Rd. 4. Sidewalks will remain open. Work is expected to last through July 3 and be completed by the holiday.
