Highway 23 Sandstone to Askov construction starts May 6

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting construction on Highway 23 between Sandstone and Askov on Monday, May 6. Initial work will begin with shoulder closures at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 18. Starting on May 13, the ramp on to southbound I-35 from Highway 23 north of Sandstone will close and traffic will be detoured on southbound Highway 23 to the other onramp from that highway to I-35.
