Human Resources Seeds Student Worker

Description:
Work closely with MnDOT recruiters to help build our workforce. Assist and support agency recruiters in creating and maintaining a qualified, diverse workforce, providing employment information to the public, and administering the employee referral program.
Primary Tasks:
- Support recruitment activities by creating and posting job ads on internal and external employment platforms and designing promotional materials
- Network and research new opportunities for partnerships and recruitment events
- Coordinate and attend recruitment events to connect job seekers with MnDOT employment opportunities
- Maintain and analyze data to identify trends, effectiveness of events, and return on investment for HR leadership
- Assist in administering the Employee Referral Program by maintaining tracking spreadsheets, implementing and marketing the program, and responding to inquiries about the program
Metro Engineering Seeds Student Worker

Description:
The Metro South Area seeks a Seeds student worker to assist help with administrative tasks including community engagement and meeting scheduling with local partners in the metro area.
Primary Tasks:
- Assist the metro area engineer with coordination and communication tasks including scheduling and attending meetings
- Respond to public comments regarding ongoing studies, construction projects, maintenance activities, and more
- Coordinate internal and external project delivery with the metro area engineer regarding construction activities, deliverables, layout reviews, data recording, and reporting.
Metro Right of Way Seeds Student Worker

Description:
The Metro Right of Way Office seeks a Seeds student worker to help capture property management documents in a spatial environment. Create spatial data to enhance coordination within and across offices, preserve institutional knowledge, and streamline the decision-making process for planning, program delivery, and operations.
Primary Tasks:
- Create, update, and maintain existing GIS data using ArcGIS, ArcPro, ArcGIS online, and Survey123
- Research MnDOT historic documents, agreements, and permits to be used for GIS locating
- Research, assist, and support conversations and development of GIS applications, datasets, and tools used by Metro Right of Way staff
