Policy statement

Accountability for consumable inventory activities will reside with District Engineers and appropriate Office Directors. They have the responsibility and authority for providing management and control of these activities and, for ensuring that standard practices are adhered to properly. Authority for management of individual areas may be delegated but responsibility will still lie with the District Engineers and appropriate Office Directors.

Reason for retiring the policy

The policy and guidelines no longer reflect contemporary business practices.
