Hwy 53 Eveleth construction update meeting April 1

DULUTH, Minn. – On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation and St. Louis County will be holding an information meeting about construction occurring this year on Hwy 53 in Eveleth at the Rock Ridge High School Athletic Commons (1403 Progress Pkwy, Virginia, MN 55792).

Construction is expected to start on April 1 and will include removal and replacement of bridges at Hwy 53 and Hwy 37, construction of a roundabout at Progress Parkway, resurfacing pavement, and constructing intersection improvements. Motorists can expect lane closures when project work begins.
