Pavement preservation project planned this weekend for John Ireland bridge over I-94 in St. Paul
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – A pavement preservation project is scheduled this weekend on the deck of the John Ireland Bridge crossing Interstate 94 in St. Paul. Construction crews will apply a thin coating of asphalt to both directions of the bridge on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 11 and 12. During the work, motorists will encounter alternating single lane traffic from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days on the side of the bridge being worked on.
Bicycle/pedestrian traffic also will be maintained across the bridge on the side not being treated.
