Hwy 95 Road Improvement Project Open House scheduled for June 19 in Bayport

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house to learn about a highway construction project planned on Hwy 95 in Washington County. In Spring 2020, MnDOT will make road improvements on a five-mile section of Hwy 95 from 8th Avenue N in Bayport to south of I-94 in Lakeland.

The open house is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the Bayport Public Library, 582 4th St. N. – Conf. Rm C Bayport, MN.

The work will include pavement repair, drainage improvements and pedestrian updates. MnDOT is also proposing to add bicycle lanes in downtown Bayport. Residents and area businesses will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed bicycle lanes concept.

MnDOT staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss project staging, traffic impacts and detours. There will be no formal presentation.
