| Abstract | Route Segments represent road centerlines for all public roads within the state of Minnesota. The roads are broken from intersection to intersection and attributed with information based on their designated route. A description of the Roads layer is included in Section 5 of this document - Entity and Attribute Overview.
800 Routes 800 Routes are route segments that formerly were part of a trunk highway which was turned back. The turn back order did not cover the segments included in the 800 route so a permanent artificial number is assigned in the 800-899 range. 900 Routes 900 Routes are for route segments that formerly were part of a trunk highway which was turned back. These are temporary numbers assigned while we wait for an official local designation. These numbers are assigned in the 900-999 range. These numbers are not official route numbers but just for assigning data to unnumbered routes. | |||
