A joint program of the Minnesota Department of Transportation,
the University of Minnesota's
Center for Transportation Studies
and the Minnesota Local Road Research Board since 1995
The primary goal of the Minnesota Transportation Libraries (MTL) program is to make transportation related information more readily accessible. The program provides services through the MnDOT Library and the CTS Library. The combined catalog can be searched online to identify books and reports on various aspects of transportation held by the libraries. Additional transportation information resources from other U.S. and Canadian transportation libraries can be identified by searching WorldCat.org. MTL staff are also available to provide assistance with transportation related research.
MTL also produces a new library materials list available from the MnDOT Library.
The Minnesota Transportation Libraries program is a collaborative effort intended to use traditional and emerging technologies to make the world's transportation related information resources readily accessible throughout Minnesota, and to organize and make accessible information about Minnesota's transportation programs and resources.
This site will be used to provide access to electronic information resources developed by the program and to provide links to other sources of information.
