Hwy 68 resurfacing project starts August 9
WILLMAR, Minn. — The Highway 68 resurfacing project from Milroy to Wabasso will start August 9 with the milling of the road surface. The milling portion of the project will take approximately three days and paving operations will start August 29. During this time (Aug. 14-29) road work ahead and uneven lane signs will remain in place. The road will remain open to traffic.
The Highway 68 project includes a micro-mill and overlay. Motorists can expect short delays starting August 29 as traffic will be reduced to one lane during paving. Duininck Inc. is the contractor on the project.
MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
