Hwy 4 project detour extended to August 9
WILLMAR, Minn. — The Highway 4 resurfacing project from Fairfax to the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 68 started Monday, July 17. The project includes the resurfacing of Highway 4 for 13.4 miles, the replacement of two culverts, replacement of bridge approach panels and installation of new guardrail. It requires a short detour (map below). The road was expected to be opened to traffic on August 4, but the detour needs to be extended to Wednesday, August 9 to complete work on the bridge.
