About this project
MnDOT will resurface and improve Hwy 107 from Hwy 65 to 6th St. NW ( Isanti Co. Rd. 4) in Braham, which includes new storm sewer, city water main and pedestrian updates.
The project is currently in the design phase.
- You're invited: Hwy 107 public meeting at Braham City Hall from 6-7:30 p.m. Wed, Aug. 13, 2025. Open house-style format. Stop by, view a design layout and ask questions. Construction timing and traffic impacts will be discussed at a later date closer to construction.
 
        Summary of work
- Reconstruct from 4th St. SE to north  of 2nd St. NW:  
    
- Pave new asphalt road surface
 - Replace city water main
 - Replace storm sewer
 - Add new multi-use trail along the east side of Hwy 107
 
 - Repave the asphalt road surface: 
    
- Hwy 65 to 4th St. S on the south end
 - North of 2nd St. NW to 6th St. NW (Isanti Co. Rd. 4)
 
 - Update pedestrian sidewalks and approaches
 
Future impacts
- Motorists: Road closures with detours or segments of lane closures with flaggers
 - Pedestrians: Sidewalk closures, signed detours
