Learn about our regional priorities
Our regional priorities are listed in Minnesota's State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). FHWA and FTA approved the final 2024-2027 STIP on Nov. 9, 2023.
2025-2028 STIP
The public involvement period for the draft STIP had ended. We are currently publishing the STIP and will submit it to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) by Sept. 30, 2024. Once the 2025-2028 STIP is approved by FHWA and FTA, projects listed in the STIP are eligible to receive federal funds and project changes can be processed through a formal amendment or an administrative modification.
